Sharon Silva, known for her passionate presence in The Wild Reeds, is setting out on her first solo voyage. Silva sings with a direct pensiveness, nuance, and depth that can only come from real-lived experience. Her songs tap into a rich interior world, where feelings of loss, accomplishment, and love all coincide. In this world, these complicated feelings are met with curiosity and wonder. She has recently supported americana mainstay acts David Ramirez and The Lone Bellow, and is headed for a west coast tour this August with Cooper Kenward. Silva recently finished her debut album, due out this fall.

Cooper Kenward writes warm feel-good-even-if-you-feel-bad songs. Hailing from a small town in Northern California, he explores the odd backroads of the heart. He has a mix of songs that could be blasted from a barn, giggled from a ferris wheel, or hummed in a rainstorm. By day, Kenward makes films. Some say that’s why his ballads smack of vivid details. He honed his skills playing in the infamous garage band Nature’s Vegas in San Francisco, and now resides in LA with his pitbull Bonnie Raitt.
