John Elliott // Ponies of Harmony
John Elliott is a human, the most common and widespread species of primate. He does many things, among them writing songs and performing them. He has been releasing albums and performing in every type of venue you can imagine since the late 90s, touring in 49 of the 50 states and all over Europe. He went viral once and doesn’t necessarily recommend it. He loves YouTube and the literary magazine “The Sun.” He believes most urban car trips can be replaced by walking, transit, or riding a bike. His band, The Band of Supervisors, is a group of musicians from the Bay Area and beyond, representing multiple counties and jurisdictions. It is an evolving Americana-Rock-Folk-Joy-Jam band that plays original music from John's many albums of almost hits and near misses. He is releasing a new album this fall on compact disc and vinyl, but not streaming until later. He is also available on the internet: www.thehereafterishere.com + www.audiodes.net.
The Ponies of Harmony are a harmony singing songwriting duo of multi-instrumentalists Katie Belknap (clarinet, guitar) and James Zeller (trombone, guitar). They are like two wild horses, these ponies, bandits of love roaming the peripheries. They long for their music to bring peace to each other and to their listeners, then often find their manes tangled in the briars, their hooves tattered, often a back leg limping. But they just as often find themselves waking up on a fine morning, finding their stride is still there, grabbing their instruments, climbing aboard their trusted steeds (bicycles), racing off to a farmers market or an anti-war event, and summoning the strength to somehow continue the fight for a different world with the not-so-secret weapon feared by all tyrants and fascists: music and poetry. www.poniesofharmony.bandcamp.com

John Craigie w/ The Coffis Brothers
John Craigie has mastered the art of creating live shows that feel more like intimate conversations than performances. Infusing humor, wit, and poignant storytelling, his shows are a space where audience members feel like old friends. Whether he's headlining solo or sharing the stage with longtime collaborators, Craigie’s ability to make his crowd laugh, reflect, and connect is second to none.
Opening the show and serving as Craigie's band are The Coffis Brothers. With two songwriters, six albums, and more than a thousand shows under their belt, The Coffis Brothers have earned their reputation as modern-day torchbearers of all-American rock & roll. It's a sound caught halfway between amplified Americana, acoustic folk, roadhouse R&B, and electrifying roots music, crafted by a pair of California-born siblings who've been sharing the stage since childhood, and the five piece band filled out by their childhood friend, Kyle Poppen on lead guitar, and the rhythm section of Aidan Collins (bass), and Cory Graves (drums).
Giving back as much as possible, Craigie notably launched the #KeepItWarm Tour during the holidays. By donating $1 from every ticket sale, this headline run has raised money for regional non-profits with the goal of fighting food insecurity. This show will be raising money for Farm to Pantry.
In 2021, Farm to Pantry rescued over 350,000 pounds of produce. Since 2008, they have delivered over 4 million servings of fruits and vegetables. They do this with the power and commitment of over 500 volunteer gleaners, 400+ property owners and more than 100 community partners. Up to 40% of all food in the U.S. ends up in landfills. By diverting food waste from landfills, Farm to Pantry prevents methane pollution from entering the atmosphere; in 2021, they spared the air of 361 metric tons of carbon dioxide.

Hallie Spoor (CasparFest Wind-Down)
After CasparFest at the Community Center, come hang, grab a bite and a drink, and listen to the dulcet tones of touring artist Hallie Spoor. We won’t be charging a cover, but tips are highly encouraged!
Brooklyn-based indie-folk singer-songwriter Hallie Spoor’s compelling vocals and emotional storytelling have earned her the nickname “The Adele of Americana" (bolderbeat). "If you’re a fan of confessional lyrics and a strong, powerful voice,” writes 303 Magazine, “Spoor is your girl." Reminiscent of 1970s icons like Laura Nyro and Carol King, Hallie’s music contains her own unique mix of “empathy and frankness,” (Radio Free Brooklyn) a warmth infused with the Western grit that comes from a Colorado childhood spent wading in icy lakes and bushwhacking through willows. The desire to create community through music fuels Hallie today, and audiences respond: “She invites the listener into the world through her eyes, and her music brings a lightness and accessibility to moments that probably affect every listener …” (Radio Free Brooklyn). She’s completed multiple national tours, playing iconic venues like The House of Blues and Hotel Cafe (LA), Dees Lounge (Nashville), The Hideout (Chicago), Rockwood Music Hall and Mercury Lounge in New York City. Hallie has three studio albums, two singles, and a series of music videos. Her 2020 EP “New Ground,” has been streamed more than 90,000 times on Spotify, and Spoor released her newest album, “Heart Like Thunder,” last fall.

Jackson Emmer
“Few are writing songs like Jackson Emmer.” – Rolling Stone
Jackson Emmer is an award-winning songwriter and folksinger from Santa Cruz, California. His 5th solo record, "Battle Hymn of the Early Riser" is out in June of 2025. The album explores themes of family, parenthood, broken dreams, and steady bonds. Emmer’s writing is often compared to the late greats of the 70's Texas troubadour scene – think witty and gritty, cheerful and lonesome, a poet bleeding while you tap your toes.
Emmer has performed at the Bluebird Cafe, Telluride Bluegrass Festival, and Club Passim. He has taught for Acoustic Guitar Magazine, Swallow Hill Music, and many other music camps. Bluegrass legend Tim O'Brien said this about Emmer's latest: "I chuckled, I sang along, and a few tears came. It's personal, universal, fresh, and hopeful. And there's steel guitar.
